SmithGroup is seeking a Human Resources Representative to join our team in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include benefits and payroll administration, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, and supporting policy development across local personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3–6 years of HR experience. We offer generous PTO, holidays, 401(k) with matching, tuition reimbursement, career coaching and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field, preferred.
• 3 - 6 years HR-related experience or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Sensitivity towards confidential information is a must.
• The ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently.
• Proficiency in HRIS system maintenance and file management; Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy is required.
• Working knowledge of UltiPro and talent management software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Perform benefits and payroll administration including enrollment, claims resolution and reporting.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.
• Provide customer service for employees on benefits, payroll, and policies.
• Screen candidate credentials and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Lead onboarding including orientation, E-Verify and new hire paperwork.
• Develop and administer HR plans and procedures for local personnel.
