Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate new-hire onboarding for our temporary tradespeople, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience. Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

This full-time onsite position is located in Austin, TX, with a salary range of $50,000–$55,000 per year and a monthly incentive bonus of about $2,000.

Qualifications

• Experience onboarding in fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Proactive, urgent work style with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Avionte and Fieldglass is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including paperwork and background checks.
• Manage data entry and document collection in large volumes.
• Serve as main contact for new employees throughout onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules with recruiters, HR, and managers.

Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

• Fulltime, Internal Position:Onboarding Specialist
• Location:Onsite - Austin, TX
• Salary:$50,000-55,000/yr
• Bonus:~$2,000 in monthly incentives
• Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended hours during peak times)

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced staffing or high-volume environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you perform proactively and with urgency.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, onboarding platforms, and compliance requirements (Avionte' and Fieldglass a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during busy/peak times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step.
• Utilization of various software and programs in order to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.
