Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to lead and coordinate the new-hire onboarding experience for our temporary tradespeople in Austin. You will manage paperwork, background checks, data collection, and status monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

This internal full-time role requires strong HR system knowledge, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; occasional extended hours may be needed during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including paperwork, background checks, data collection, and status monitoring.
• Utilize various software to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers.

Bring your prior experience in new-hire onboarding to our fast-paced and high-volume staffing environment!

Fulltime, Internal Position: Onboarding Specialist

Location: Onsite - Austin, TX

Bonus: ~$2,000 in monthly incentives

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility to work extended hours during peak times)

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step.
• Utilization of various software and programs in order to complete a high-volume of data entry.
• Serve as the go-to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
• Work closely with Recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation.
