Job summary

The New England Center for Children (NECC) in Southborough, MA is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support Talent Acquisition with onboarding and HR operations. You will manage end-to-end onboarding, serve as a key contact for new hires, and help ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.

As part of the HR team, you will maintain documentation, assist with EEC compliance, audits, and provide confidential support across HR processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative HR experience.
• Foundational knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Familiarity with confidentiality and HR compliance standards (HIPAA, EEOC).
• I-9s, benefits forms, and background screening documentation handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires from offer to completion.
• Serve as primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding.
• Communicate onboarding requirements, deadlines and steps to new hires.
• Prepare onboarding materials and ensure compliance paperwork.
• Review onboarding documents for accuracy and follow up on gaps.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and track progress against timelines.
• Identify onboarding issues and coordinate resolution with teams.
