Job summary

Great Bay Kids in NH is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day people operations and help ensure a positive, equitable workplace culture.

Reporting to the Director of Staffing, you will own recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations, guiding staff with HR guidance and ensuring policy consistency with our mission. You will partner with leadership across departments, manage background checks, maintain records, and assist with benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or people-operations role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the compliance and risk management umbrella associated with HR.
• Support consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines.
• Assist with compliance related to federal and state labor laws.
• Track compliance documentation and support audits, inspections, and documentation requests as needed.
• Assist with benefits administration and training tracking.
