Job summary

Universal Ingredients is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator in Grandview, WA to lead recruiting, onboarding and HR operations. You will manage employee records, coordinate orientations, training, attendance, and payroll changes, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

The role requires at least two years of HR experience and an associate degree (preferred). Strong communication, bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus, and you should be comfortable in a fast-paced office

Qualifications

• Two years HR experience minimum.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with onboarding and recruitment a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting and hiring processes with supervisors for postings, screening and interviewing.
• Coordinate onboarding, drug screens, and new hire paperwork.
• Utilize sourcing techniques to meet staffing needs (social media, job fairs, referrals).
• Maintain employee files from pre-employment to post-termination.
• Support HR training programs and monitor course completion.
• Handle attendance and payroll questions, and process payroll changes.
• Schedule meetings, interviews, events, and other HR activities.
• Ensure up-to-date legal postings are displayed within required timeframes.
