Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience or Bachelor's in Business/Logistics or related field
• 2 years' Walmart Logistics management experience or 2 years' supervisory experience including 1 year's managing HR processes
• Associates will be required to attend and complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally or in writing to implement the business plan and manage staffing
• Oversee HR office functions including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, and HR systems
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and maintain HR documents with confidentiality
• Identify concerns from associates/customers/suppliers and determine corrective actions
• Supervise and develop associates by assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback
• Coordinate training (new hire orientation, modules, web-based training) for Distribution/Transportation staff
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities with stakeholders to meet business needs
• Provide development opportunities, mentoring, and promote a sense of belonging
