Zusammenfassung

The Salvation Army in Alexandria, LA is seeking an HR operations professional to oversee day-to-day human resource activities for a large corps. You will monitor attendance, administer benefits, support recruitment, processing of new hires, and maintain personnel files.

You will coordinate with Divisional Headquarters and ensure timely reporting, compliance with AAP requirements, and accurate payroll data, while advising department heads on hiring practices and personnel policies.

Qualifikationen

• Two year degree from an accredited college or vocational school in Human Resources or a related field.
• Two years experience performing personnel and administrative work.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.
• License & Certifications: Valid State Driver License.
• Eligible Driver Under TSA Driver Qualification Program

Aufgaben

• Monitors employee time and attendance, audits leave balances, and ensures payroll deadlines.
• Counsels supervisors and employees on HR policies and hiring practices.
• Prepares new hire paperwork and establishes personnel files.
• Audits health plan enrollments and changes for the health plan.
• Conducts recruitment with posting, interviewing, background checks and orientation.
• Keeps Corps Officers informed of significant HR problems.
• Manages AAP requirements during recruitment and updates the system.
• Prepares and analyzes annual AAP reports for the Corps location.
