Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners is seeking an experienced HR/Office Manager in Seattle to own the day-to-day HR operations and office functions. You will lead recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and engagement while partnering with leadership to improve processes and the employee experience.

This hands-on, multi-hat role offers autonomy, visibility, and the chance to shape HR programs and workplace culture for a growing private company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with the confidence to independently manage a broad HR function.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day HR operations, policies, and compliance.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and terminations.
  • Manage benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
  • Help create a positive employee experience through company events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate programs that support employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation.
  • Manage HRIS systems and identify opportunities to improve processes and automation.
  • Support employment law and benefits compliance requirements.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and leadership.
  • Oversee general office operations and help keep the workplace running smoothly.

Our client is a well-established, privately held company looking for an HR/Office Manager to serve as the go-to person for employees and leadership. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants the autonomy to take ownership of HR while helping create a great employee experience.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day HR function, from recruiting and employee relations to benefits, compliance, and engagement, while working closely with leadership to improve processes, support employees, and help the company continue to grow.
