Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Memphis, TN is seeking an HR Manager to own day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environment. You will wear multiple hats and drive hiring, onboarding, and employee relations across the organization.

The role requires strong recruiting experience, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to a growing company. Flexible scheduling, including occasional weekends or after-hours, is part of the job.

• Take on additional HR responsibilities as the company grows.

Are you an HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats?

We’re searching for an HR Manager to join a growing small-to-mid-sized organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation—not just one specialized area of HR.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead high-volume recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates
• Oversee the onboarding and new-hire orientation process
• Handle employee relations, personnel matters, and disciplinary actions
• Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and providing HR support
• Assist with incoming calls and other operational needs as necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Office Suite, and social media platforms
• Take on additional HR responsibilities as the position and company continue to grow

Who We’re Looking For:

• HR experience within a small-to-mid-sized company is strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in an “all-hands-on-deck” environment where responsibilities aren't siloed
• Strong recruiting experience, particularly in high-volume hiring
• Motivated, adaptable, organized, and able to shift priorities quickly
• Strong operational mindset with excellent people and communication skills
• Flexible with scheduling, including occasional weekends or after-hours needs due to a 24/7 operation
• Interested in continued professional growth and open to mentorship

Schedule & Compensation:

Standard office hours are approximately 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, averaging around 50 hours per week
