Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding and new hire orientation while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and benefits administration. The role supports staff training, engagement and performance coaching in alignment with laws and club values.

The position involves developing and enforcing HR policies, maintaining compliant personnel records, and assisting with payroll and workers’ compensation reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a human resources generalist capacity.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and best practices.
• Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment processes and candidate screening; coordinate interviews.
• Administer onboarding, new hire orientation and recordkeeping.
• Maintain personnel records in compliance with legal requirements and audits.
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Support staff training, development, engagement and recognition programs.
• Ensure policies and practices comply with laws and organizational values.
• Support safety and OSHA compliance and incident reporting.
• Assist with employee relations matters, coaching and conflict resolution.
