Zusammenfassung

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in San Diego, CA. This hybrid, full-time role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll assistance, and HR policy administration under the VP of HR.

The position requires at least one year in HR/Recruitment, strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, plus familiarity with HRIS and payroll processes. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, HRIS, and similar computer applications.

Aufgaben

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training such as safety and anti-harassment.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring; collaborates with managers on required skills.
• Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Administers HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, and performance management.
• Handles inquiries about policies, benefits, and hiring processes; escalates complex issues.
• Assists in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Manages workers’ compensation claims, files reports, and tracks progress.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; updates policies as needed.
• Keeps up with HR trends and regulatory changes.
