Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking a human resources professional to support hiring, compensation, training and development in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

You will collaborate with operations management, interpret policies, ensure compliance, and guide managers through staffing, onboarding, and leaves while keeping information confidential. This fully in-person role requires travel between Bay Area markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR preferred.
• 5-7 years of HR experience, including recruiting, selection and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with operations management on HR issues including hiring, compensation, training and disciplinary actions.
• Interprets and assists with HR policies and procedures.
• Manages compliance; identifies local risks and mitigates.
• Manages hiring process: screening, hiring, onboarding, payroll, leaves.
• Liaises between unit and HR Director.
• Coaches and mentors staff; assesses performance and provides feedback.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Other duties as required.
