Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Human Resources professional for an in-person, multi-market role. The position focuses on HR policy interpretation, compliance management, and full lifecycle hiring, from screening to onboarding.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of HR experience, a bachelor’s in HR/Business, and knowledge of HRIS/ADP. Travel between Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas is required, with strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Qualifications

• HRIS, ADP, and investigative experience preferred.
• Travel requirement outside of the immediate area (10%-15%).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: interact with diverse individuals during crises.
• Organized, detail oriented, strong problem solving, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bias for action, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Consults with operations management on HR issues related to hiring, compensation, training and development, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Interprets and assists with understanding HR policies and procedures.
• Manages compliance issues; identifies local compliance risks and mitigates them.
• Manages hiring process including candidate screening, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and leaves of absence.
• Serves as liaison between unit and Division HR Director.
• Coaches and mentors assigned employees; assesses performance and provides feedback.
