Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Manager SSC Human Resources to partner with functional management on business decisions related to associates and to support all HR activities for the client group, including talent management, organization effectiveness, associate relations, compensation, performance management, benefits, learning, staffing, and organizational transformation.

The role drives HR initiatives, develops leadership, and supports company-wide programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in human resources.
3-5 years HR generalist or related experience.
2+ years management experience.

Responsibilities

Identifies breaches of culture/values that impact workplace and resolves associate relations issues.
Partners with management to recruit for exempt and non-exempt positions and ensures compliance with policy and procedure.
Provides counsel and leadership coaching and supports performance management processes.
Leads training and orientation; may conduct management development training in HR areas.
Identifies back-up and emerging talent; supports diversity initiatives and HR programs.
Represents HR in corporate initiatives and drives HR programs.
Drives compensation and performance management for the client group.
