Job summary

Safran Power Units in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions including recruitment, talent management, training, employee relations and policy governance for SPU sites in San Diego and Dallas.

You will partner with leadership to design organizational structures, drive HR programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years HR Generalist/BP/manager experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to implement HR programs and organization design.
• Advise local leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Recruiting for contractors and hires, conduct interviews, on-boarding and affirmative action logging.
• Provide day-to-day HR services and answer questions on policies and procedures.
• Coach managers on performance management and conduct annual/mid-year reviews using relevant systems.
• Manage compensation planning, merit and bonus processes.
