Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to serve as an advisor to the DC General Manager and leadership team, driving HR initiatives and serving as an employee champion and change agent.

You will oversee DC HR staff, lead full cycle recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations investigations while promoting performance management and engagement across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in HR/related field.
• 8+ years resolving complex employee relations issues.
• PHR certification preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and support to the DC General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Manage the DC HR staff including time keeping, payroll, benefits, and recruiting.
• Lead full cycle recruiting and onboarding for all exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct thorough investigations.
• Provide performance management support for leadership and administer performance reviews.
• Engage with employees on the production floor and in training programs.
• Administer and communicate benefit programs including 401k, leave, and life/medical/dental insurance.
