Job summary

hireneXus, a growing industrial manufacturer in the Chicago Northwest Suburbs, seeks an HR Manager to lead recruiting and onboarding for a 160+ employee operation and a 60-strong contractor workforce. You will start reporting to the VP of Operations, HR & Safety, then transition to the Director of Operations for the enclosures division, shaping people programs and engaging shop-floor teams daily.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR generalist or HR management support experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field; SHRM-CP/PHR preferred.
• Comfort with an hourly, blue-collar workforce and floor-level engagement.
• Solid organizational skills and confidential record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Own recruiting and onboarding for the first 2 years, coordinating with external partners.
• Serve as the go-to HR resource for the enclosures division.
• Handle lighter employee relations and attendance concerns.
• Coordinate training programs and track completion.
• Support benefits administration and maintain accurate employee records.
• Assist compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
