Job summary

Kundel Industries is seeking an experienced in-house Human Resources Manager to guide leadership, ensure employment law compliance, and develop strategies for recruiting, retention, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, employment law, employee relations, and talent acquisition, with proven ability to provide sound guidance in a manufacturing setting. Prior HR leadership and compliance experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in human resources or relevant certification.
• Prior HR management or generalist experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience handling complex employee relations, investigations, and performance issues.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Ohio employment laws and HR compliance.
• Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting and retention strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance and maintain updated policies and handbooks.
• Address employee concerns, conflicts, disciplinary matters, and performance issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, technical, administrative, and leadership roles.
• Support leadership with performance management and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee compensation planning, benefits administration, and HR process improvements.
