Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support operations across multiple U.S. markets. You will drive HR processes including hiring, compensation, training, and employee relations, while ensuring policy adherence and legal compliance.

The role is in-person, requiring travel between markets; you’ll partner with management and the Division HR Director to optimize workforce outcomes. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's in HR or related field is preferred, and 5–7 years of HR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
• PHR or SPHR preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant HR experience including recruiting, selection, and employee relations.
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consults with operations management on HR issues related to hiring, compensation, training and development, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Interprets and assists with understanding HR policies and procedures.
• Manages compliance issues; identifies local compliance risks and mitigates them.
• Manages the hiring process including candidate screening, hiring, payroll, and leaves of absence.
• Liaisons between the unit and the Division HR Director.
• Coaches and mentors assigned employees; assesses performance and gives feedback.
