Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in HR with strong knowledge of employment law and experience conducting investigations, coaching leaders, and delivering training. Travel locally may be needed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with emphasis on employee relations and employment law compliance.
• Experience conducting investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to deliver training, coach leaders, and influence positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions to employee issues and policy violations.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, corrective actions, terminations, and workforce transitions.
• Advise leaders on employment law compliance, accommodations, leave management, and HR best practices.
• Partner with hiring managers on recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts.
• Develop and deliver training programs and educational resources on HR-related topics.
• Maintain accurate employee documentation and support HR administration, including employment verifications and unemployment claims.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement HR programs, improve processes, and enhance the employee experience.

LHH has an opening for an HR Manager opening with our client in Baltimore. This Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic HR partner, providing consultative support to leaders and employees across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This role helps foster a positive workplace culture, ensures consistent application of HR policies and employment practices, and partners with leadership to address workforce challenges and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
