Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR across our Components Business Unit in multiple locations, including Marshfield and Thorp. You will partner with the General Manager and site leaders to align people strategies with operational goals, and you will manage labor relations for two unionized facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing HR, strong union experience, and a hands-on, collaborative approach to driving organizational excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Significant experience supporting unionized workforces, including collective bargaining agreement interpretation and administration.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations.
• Strong employee relations, compliance, and recruitment experience.
• Proven ability to balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as HR partner to the General Manager and leadership team for the Components business unit across multiple sites.
• Lead labor relations and contract administration for two unionized facilities; foster collaborative labor-management relationships.
• Coach leaders on performance management, discipline, attendance, and policy adherence.
• Oversee recruitment for hourly and salaried roles; manage onboarding and orientation processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; develop and communicate HR policies.
