Job summary

CB Partners, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead people practices across a multi-site industrial and distribution operation. You will partner with site and executive leadership to align HR strategy with business goals while overseeing recruiting, employee relations, safety compliance, benefits, leave administration, and HRIS/payroll.

The role requires 5–12+ years of HR experience, 3–5+ years in leadership, multi-site exposure, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Serve as strategic HR partner to site and executive leadership across locations.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, technical/skilled, driver, sales, and corporate roles.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and policy application across a distributed workforce; manage labor relations at unionized sites where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC and multi-state employment law.
• Partner with EHS on safety programs including equipment certification tracking.
• Develop and administer competitive pay structures, oversee benefits and leave administration, and manage HRIS/payroll reporting.

Human Resources Manager - Multi-Site Industrial/Distribution Operations

Our client is a growing distributor and service provider of material handling equipment and solutions forklifts, racking/storage systems, and warehouse automation, supporting manufacturing, distribution, and logistics customers across multiple branch and distribution center locations.

As the company scales, they're seeking an experienced HR leader to build and strengthen people practices across a multi-site, blended hourly/technical/salaried workforce.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to site and executive leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals across all locations
• Own full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, technical/skilled-trade, driver, sales, and corporate roles
• Lead employee relations casework, investigations, and consistent policy application across a distributed workforce; manage labor relations at unionized sites where applicable
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and multi-state employment law
• Partner with EHS on safety programs including equipment certification tracking
• Develop and administer competitive pay structures, oversee benefits and leave administration, and manage HRIS/payroll reporting

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 5-12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5+ years in a leadership capacity
• Multi-site experience in industrial, warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law
• HRIS/payroll platform proficiency (UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar)
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites (~25-40%)

Preferred: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR; union environment experience; experience scaling HR infrastructure during growth
