Compare Foods is seeking an HR Lead to manage the full employee life cycle across two stores, including hiring, onboarding, policy, employee relations, compliance, and development. The role requires hands-on work on the sales floor and strong communication and critical thinking skills.

You will collaborate with external and internal recruiters to ensure best hiring practices, coordinate interviews, and maintain accurate HR records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HR experience across recruiting, employee relations, and compliance.
• Knowledge of federal and North Carolina employment law, I-9/E-Verify, and wage-hour rules.
• Discretion in handling sensitive matters with thorough documentation.
• Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll systems; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Willingness to work hands-on at two store locations.

Responsabilités

• Own full employee life cycle across multiple stores, including hiring, onboarding, policy, employee relations, compliance, and development.
• Work alongside recruiters, both external and internal, to ensure best hiring practices.
• Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling interviews and meetings.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the human resources department.
• Answer telephone calls and email inquiries from both internal and external parties.
• Other duties as assigned.
