Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Human Resources Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience across our locations. You will partner with store leadership to drive recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HR, strong communication, and the ability to manage confidential information in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, or associate engagement.
• Knowledge of HR policies and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer-based systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships with associates and leadership at all levels.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: review applications, conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and support events.
• Associate Support & HR Operations: onboarding, records management, HRIS data, attendance, benefits, and documentation.
• Employee Relations, Training & Compliance: partner on employee relations, investigations, training, and policy compliance.
• Store Support: maintain confidentiality, communicate programs and updates, support leaders and cross-functional teams.
