Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Human Resources Intern for Spring 2027. The internship involves clerical and administrative duties related to recruitment, employee development, and personnel management.

Bachelor's Level Internships pay $15 hourly. Responsibilities include assisting with HR admin, full cycle recruiting, ATS operations, sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, career fairs, and supporting engagement, wellness, and file management. Regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
• Must be very detailed, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services, and alignment with the agency’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in general administrative functions in support of HR.
• Learn and assist with full cycle recruiting including operation of the applicant tracking system.
• Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates.
• Participate in career fairs and other recruiting events.
• Manage and maintain Wedgwood’s internship recruitment process.
• Learn and assist in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Support Mindful Moment, Wellness initiatives, and recognition programs.
• Attend HR team meetings and supervisor sessions.
• Maintain personnel file management and audit compliance per standards.
• Ensure consistent attendance and availability during assigned hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
