Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. invites you to participate in its Human Resources Internship in Oxnard, CA.

As an HR intern, you will work with management and various teams to apply business concepts and refine HR processes while gaining exposure to multiple HR functions. The program emphasizes hands-on training, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to high-visibility projects. Strong candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, fluent in Spanish, and prepared for a demanding, 40-70 hour workweek

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Sophomore standing required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Spanish fluency (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• Available to work March through August.
• Ability to work 40–70 hours per week, including weekends/holidays, and all shifts.
