Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in HR, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
• Well organized, accurate, and able to work independently.
• Curious and willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and update company job descriptions.
• Assist HR Generalist with monthly employee newsletter.
• Update all bulletin boards.
• Conduct annual employee vision screenings.
• Assist with yearly Fire and Tornado Drills.
• Take photos of company events as needed.
• Help with company events – picnic, cookouts, etc.
• Assist Recruiter with dispositioning applicants.
• Learn HR policies/benefits to respond to internal staff inquiries.
• Attend weekly department meetings.
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.
