Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA, part of the HillPhoenix brand, is seeking an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience across HR disciplines within our manufacturing environment.

You will assist with onboarding, recruitment support, and HR data maintenance while learning from HR leaders. This role emphasizes confidentiality, collaboration, and timely communication within a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR or organizational development.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Learning operations aspects of the facility and how HR supports business operations.
• Assists in coordinating new hire orientations and onboarding; developing new programs and improving communications.
• Performs process analysis of HR processes and suggests efficiency improvements.
• Supports recruiting: updating job descriptions, posting positions, vetting applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Updates company databases with new employee information and maintains files.
• Responds to staff inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
• Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned by manager.
