Job summary

JD.com is seeking an on-site HR intern for a 6‑month program. You will work within the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, supporting full‑cycle HR operations in a high‑volume logistics environment and assisting 200–250 employees across California sites.

The role offers hands‑on exposure, mentorship from HR leads, and opportunities to learn payroll, onboarding and investigations. Graduates or current students in HR or related fields are encouraged to apply; Mandarin is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or graduated in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Mandarin is a plus (not essential).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; ability to learn HRIS, ERP and payroll/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Hands on HR support for 2–3 warehouses within California sites, shadowing the HR lead.
• Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes including recruitment administration, onboarding and documentation.
• Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and compliance matters.
• Support handling employee relations issues and document investigations with leadership.
• Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on policies and compliance.
