Job summary

LDRM is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support the Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg, KY. This role focuses on onboarding, policy administration, and employee relations within a union environment, delivering responsive HR services to a federal government contractor.

The position requires 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, strong knowledge of EEO/ADA/OFCCP, and the ability to handle a fast-paced workload while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools.
• Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and OFCCP requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure onboarding process is complete for new hires and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Submit and review Personnel Action Notices with coordination to HR Manager, Payroll and Operations Manager.
• Maintain company policies adhering to regulations while meeting contractual requirements.
• Respond to employee and customer questions regarding Lockwood Hills policies within LDRM (a Joint Venture of 2 companies).
• Respond to questions regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
• Prepare termination documents for involuntary terminations and gather necessary documentation.
• Manage the leave process and coordinate FMLA/LOA requests and ADA considerations.
• Provide information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and benefits.
• Conduct exit interviews and develop mitigation strategies to reduce turnover.
• Assist HR Manager on projects and provide guidance to supervisors and managers on government contracts.
