Job summary

Barentz is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Avon, OH to support talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and HR program administration. You will use HRIS to manage performance evaluations, coordinate training and surveys, and assist in mergers or acquisitions while promoting Barentz’ culture and values.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Any industry related certification (SHRM and/or HRCI preferred/encouraged)

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain electronic job descriptions for all positions.
• Back-up Talent Acquisition Specialist with interview schedules and hiring documents.
• Assist onboarding of new hires and collaborate on onboarding processes.
• Utilize HRIS to maintain performance evaluation processes.
• Act as first point of contact for employee relations issues.
• Coordinate Employee Survey materials and processes.
• Support HR systems including recruiting, onboarding, performance management.
• Assist with acquisitions and mergers.
• Maintain Employee Referral process and coordinate payouts with Payroll.
• Manage Tuition Reimbursement program administration.
• Support rewards programs to recognize employee contributions.
• Develop and manage exit interview processes and analyze data for trends.
