Job summary

ACS Group is seeking a proactive HR professional to administer policies across all HR functions at our Wabash, IN operations. You will help recruit, onboard, and train staff while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

The role also manages benefits, safety programs, performance reviews, and employee relations, reporting to management and collaborating with department leaders to support company goals.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Human Resources or Business.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting HR functions.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacancies.
• Administers Safety programs including OSHA reporting and trainings.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation.
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation and personnel transactions.
• Trains management in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, safety, and harassment.
• Advises management in resolution of employee relations issues.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies and programs.
• Administers the performance review program.
• Administers benefits programs including insurance and pension plans.
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance.
• Conducts wage surveys to determine competitive rates.
• Prepares separation notices and conducts exit interviews.
