Job summary

DB Insurance USA is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to build structure, streamline processes, and elevate the employee experience in Anaheim. The role focuses on implementing and optimizing HR systems (ATS, LMS, HRIS) and driving engagement across multiple states.

You will shape policies, manage payroll, sponsor DEI initiatives, and partner with leadership to align HR operations with business goals in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 remote after 90 days).

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HR with hands-on HR systems setup.
• California labor law knowledge; multi-state exposure is a plus.
• Proactive, self-starter with process improvement mindset.
• DEI-focused with bilingual English/Korean helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead full recruitment lifecycle from posting to onboarding and interns.
• Set up and optimize ATS, LMS, and HRIS.
• Process multi-state payroll compliantly.
• Design performance reviews on PM systems.
• Administer employee benefits and guidance.
• Drive employee engagement and plan inclusive events.
• Ensure CA labor law compliance; multi-state HR support.
• Lead DEI initiatives.
• Maintain HR records and data for compliance and reporting.
• Track HR metrics and inform strategy.
• Provide expert HR support to employees.
