Child & Family Support Services, Inc. (CFSS) in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Human Resources Generalist to support statewide operations.

The role provides HR guidance, handles employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance while maintaining confidential records and HR data. The HR Generalist will partner with leaders, manage time effectively, and handle multiple HR duties across the organization, including leave administration and accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Related bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in HR, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration preferred.
• Experience managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing HRIS, ATS and Payroll software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy guidance and answer questions for employees and managers regarding company policies and general HR matters.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, and employee concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate leave administration and employee accommodations.
• Partner with leaders and managers across the organization to address HR-related needs.
• Apply company policies consistently while complying with employment laws.
• Maintain HR data, reporting, and employee information across HR systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment with sensitive information.
• Communicate across all levels of the organization to build relationships.
• Prioritize and manage multiple HR projects and deadlines.
• Research HR questions and determine appropriate solutions with guidance as needed.
• Perform other duties related to the position.
