Catholic Charities of Central Washington is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, ensure compliance with employment laws, and manage employee records. The role includes specialized HR duties within a robust benefits program and performance management support.

The position emphasizes discretion, accuracy, and professionalism, with responsibilities spanning leave administration, training, investigations, and employee relations across agency locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and professional HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP), or associate's degree in business, communications, or related field required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
• Experience in a non-profit environment is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Administers federal and state employment-related leave and accommodation laws (ADA, FMLA, WAPFML).
• Maintains employee records, supports performance management and employee relations.
• Conducts investigations and provides findings to HR leadership.
• Administers compensation and bonus programs; ensures documentation accuracy and timely submission to Payroll.
• Onboarding support and HRIS training including Time & Attendance.
