Job summary

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Full-time Human Resources Generalist to support CFSS operations statewide. The HR Generalist will assist employees and managers with policies, onboarding, leave administration, and HR data management.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred) and experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR systems such as HRIS and ATS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration.
• Experience managing data and reporting with HRIS, ATS and Payroll software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support employees and managers with questions regarding policies, procedures, and general HR matters.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, and employee concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate leave administration and employee accommodations.
• Partner with leaders and managers across the organization to address HR-related needs.
• Apply company policies and procedures consistently while maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws.
• Monitor and maintain accurate HR data, reporting, and employee information with HR systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
• Great communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels throughout the organization using written, verbal and listening skills to build collaborative relationships.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and manage time effectively.
• Research HR questions and utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify appropriate solutions and determine when additional guidance is needed.
