Job summary

Hunter+Sage is seeking an experienced HR Generalist, Safety to support HR, Employee Relations, safety compliance and workforce administration. This hands-on role requires strong judgment and the ability to partner with employees, managers, and branch leadership across multiple sites.

The role covers investigations, HR policy, compliance, onboarding, safety training, and incident documentation with a focus on accurate records and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or conducting workplace investigations with objective documentation.
• Knowledge of employment laws, OSHA recordkeeping, workers' compensation, and safety administration.
• Strong employee relations skills with discretion for confidential matters.
• Proficiency with HRIS/HR software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations matters, policy violations, performance issues, and conduct concerns.
• Conduct or support workplace, safety, and incident investigations with documentation and follow-up.
• Maintain confidential records and escalate significant concerns appropriately.
• Coordinate HR compliance, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, and general HR admin.
• Assist with safety training, incident documentation, OSHA records, and safety metrics.
