Job summary

CMAP in Chicago, IL is seeking an organized HR Generalist to support recruitment, onboarding, intern coordination, and HR administration. You will report to the HR Director and help deliver efficient HR operations while ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience in a mission-driven public-sector environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, with at least two years of related experience and experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• At least two years work experience in employee-facing role or HR-related functions.
• Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recruitment functions including scheduling interviews, hiring, on-boarding, and benefits enrollment.
• Coordinate new hire orientation.
• Manage intern and fellowship processes annually.
• Utilize CMAP's HRIS and SharePoint technology.
• Respond to data requests by running reports and preparing reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Support general agency HR coordination and internal communication
