Job summary

Safran Aerospace Composites in New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to lead recruiting, payroll processing, and employee engagement initiatives. This role partners with production to understand business needs and reports to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities include onboarding, orientation, maintaining HRIS, handling employee relations, and coordinating site communications and company events while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or business or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience with non-exempt recruiting and payroll processing.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with HRIS software, ADP preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), Teams, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of legal requirements affecting HR functions.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of recruiting, including scheduling interviews, interviewing and onboarding employees using applicant tracking software.
• Assist with new employee orientation.
• Process bi-weekly payroll with adherence to state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Maintain HRIS and related reporting.
• Assist with employee relations issues and data analysis for improvement.
• Maintain confidential HR files per policy and regulations.
• Lead site communications and maintain internal company website and apps.
• Assist with coordination of company events.
• Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
