Job summary

AlphaGraphics Idaho Falls is seeking an HR Generalist to provide accurate HR support to employees and managers across locations. You will handle recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave, performance, training, and compliance while partnering with leadership to implement strategies.

This role involves HR operations, employee relations, and data integrity in HR systems. Responsibilities include processing hires and changes, maintaining records, and supporting new-location readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• 2+ years of broad HR, people-operations, recruiting, payroll/benefits support, or employee-relations experience.
• Knowledge of common HR practices and ability to learn multi-state requirements.
• Strong organization, documentation, customer-service, written-communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to travel periodically among assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager questions regarding policies, pay, benefits, leave, attendance, performance, and HR procedures.
• Process hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, manager changes, leaves, and separations using HRIS and process flow.
• Maintain electronic personnel records, policy acknowledgments, and confidential documentation.
• Coordinate employment verifications, organizational charts, recurring reports, and HR communications.
• Support benefits enrollment, leave changes, and onboarding coordination with specialists.
• Monitor HR requests, establish priorities, document resolutions, and identify recurring issues.
• Coordinate job postings, candidate communication, interviews, background checks, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
• Deliver or support new-hire orientation and track onboarding and training.
• Partner with recruiters and managers to maintain accurate requisition and hiring data.
• Provide managers guidance on attendance, conduct, policy, documentation, and performance matters.
• Assist HRBP with investigations and case-management.
• Draft routine corrective-action and performance documentation.
