Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the facility HR Director in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Responsibilities include recruitment, orientations, maintaining personnel records, benefits/401(k) enrollment, and handling employee inquiries and verifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 3 year's related work experence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR.
• Administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to the facility HR Director, including recruitment for vacant positions and general employee orientations.
• Maintain all personnel records and files.
• Conduct employee benefits and 401K plan enrollment meetings.
• Respond to employee inquiries, insurance, unemployment compensation correspondence and employment verifications.
• Organize all employee activities and in-services.
