Job summary

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the facility HR Director. You will handle recruiting, orientations, personnel records, benefits enrollment and 401(k) meetings, employee inquiries, unemployment and verifications, and organize employee activities and in-services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 3 years' related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and understanding of HR laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to the facility HR Director including recruiting.
• Conduct new employee orientations and maintain personnel records.
• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and 401(k) meetings.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing human resources support to the facility HR Director, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, conducting employee benefits and 401K plan enrollment meetings, responding to employee inquires, insurance, unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and organizing all employee activities and in-services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 3 year's related work experence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR.
• Administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards is highly preferred.
