Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in Athens, GA is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate daily HR functions and support the HR team in delivering people programs across the organization.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, training, and compliance, with Day 1 benefits and eligibility for the annual incentive plan.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years HR experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR.
• 2+ years experience in Human Resources.
• Hands-on experience in training and coaching.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint helpful; PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and observe in various training programs to comply with McLane training practices and laws.
• Facilitate mandatory harassment/substance abuse training and safety classes.
• Maintain records and documentation (FMLA, Workers' Comp, safety investigations).
• Coordinate events such as CMN, United Way, Health Fair, teammate parties, etc.
