Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• 2+ years of HR experience
• Hands-on training experience preferred
• Understand safety guidelines and compliance
• Strong MS Office and data interpretation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment

Responsibilities

• Support training programs and ensure compliance with McLane practices and laws
• Coordinate mandatory trainings and safety-related classes
• Maintain records, reports, and processes including FMLA and safety investigations
• Coordinate events and engage teammates in programs (CMN, United Way)
• Assist HR Manager as needed and manage recruitment activities
• Guide hiring processes, pre-employment paperwork, and orientation
• Post job ads, screen resumes, and communicate with applicants
• Promote morale through open communication and policy interpretation
• Attend daily with teammates and managers and support meetings
