Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Brookhaven, MS is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate daily Human Resources functions, support training programs, and ensure compliance with federal laws.

You will collaborate with the HR Manager and teammates to deliver reliable, people-centered service. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least two years in HR, with strong MS Office skills and experience in training, safety guidelines, and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Hands-on experience in training and coaching.
• Understand safety practice guidelines.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel); PowerPoint useful; PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and observe in training programs to comply with practices and laws.
• Facilitate mandatory harassment and safety training and classes.
• Maintain records, accounts, and safety investigations; report as needed.
• Coordinate events such as CMN, United Way, Health Fair and teammate parties.
• Provide support for HR Manager as needed.
• Ensure employment processes comply with legal guidelines and fairness.
