Job summary

US1668 FreshPoint Bix Produce Company, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with leadership to implement HR programs, policies, and leadership development across the OpCo. This role focuses on ensuring lawful operations and equitable treatment of personnel, while aligning with corporate HR strategies.

You will support performance management, staffing plans, compensation practices, and employee relations across local to corporate levels, working closely with leaders to optimize workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of HR experience; 3 years in a supervisory position preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR laws, Recruiting, Staffing, MS Office and HRIS; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
• Investigate working conditions, disciplinary actions, and appeals.
• Provide guidance for problem resolution to departments and individuals.
• Oversee performance management with leaders on reviews and coaching.
• Develop workforce staffing plans with OpCo leaders.
• Coordinate recruiting to hire diverse, skilled associates and manage turnover.
• Formulate program goals in employee relations.
• Develop and oversee management-labor relations in HR.
• Develop and/or oversee compensation policies and programs.
• Provide guidance on compensation strategy and administration.
• Communicate compensation policies to associates.
• Provide HR practices guidance and problem resolution.
• Direct HR functions and policies.
