Job summary

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Cabot office. You will support employees, foster a positive workplace culture, and oversee HR programs across the service area.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of HR experience, an HR degree, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Travel within the service area is expected along with a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
• At least 3 years of HR experience, including employee relations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Onboarding: conduct interviews, orient new hires, maintain documentation, assist with onboarding and benefits enrollment.
• HR Program Administration: manage compensation, benefits, leaves, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
• Employee Inquiries: field inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors, collaborating with management.
• Disciplinary Processes: participate in investigations and terminations in line with policies.
• Training Coordination: oversee CPR/HSFA program scheduling and certifications.
• Compliance Tracking: monitor licenses, certifications, health tests, and expirations.
• Background Checks: conduct reference and criminal checks for new hires.
• File Maintenance: maintain organized employee files with confidentiality.
• Industry Knowledge: stay current on HR trends and employment law.
