Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Burlingame, CA is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding and policy implementation in compliance with company policies and laws.

You will support recruitment, maintain personnel records, conduct investigations, assist with wage reviews, and partner with site managers while providing guidance on disciplinary actions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field; 2-4 years HR Generalist experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
• Coach managers on employee relations issues and ensure policy alignment.
• Drive engagement through site management trainings and ESAT initiatives.
• Draft and maintain records for hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation; conduct investigations.
• Support wage reviews and pay changes within pay ranges.
• Provide guidance on performance management, including disciplinary actions and CAPs.
• Communicate project status and resolve time/cost issues; generate reports.
• Establish strong relationships with operations; travel may be required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field

2-4 years HR Generalist experience
