Job summary

IPL Schoeller in Leominster, MA is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR initiatives, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role.
• Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred!
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, labor relations, and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, multi-site, or fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Diploma/degree in HR or related field; professional HR certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace matters, relations, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate recruitment activities for hourly/non-salaried positions and onboarding.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices in line with company values and laws.
• Partner with managers on performance management and employee development discussions.
• Maintain HR records, HRIS data, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support safety initiatives and return-to-work programs with operations leadership.
• Analyze and report HR metrics to support business decisions.
• Contribute to HR projects and employee wellness and engagement activities.
